During Operation Lithium Fury Phase II B and C Troops both showed unwavering bravery and dedication to the mission facing excessive enemy forces. During the assault on the FOB, B Troop assaulted across an open field with no support and held the position for over 20 minutes before any assistance could be brought closer to their position. From there, during the assault on the airfield, B Troop faced an overwhelming amount of explosive fire, and bravely stood in the way to allow medical to be provided to casualties. C Troop secured the support and leadership elements on multiple occasions when separated from the rest of the Troop, directly allowing B Troop to handle the enemy and continue on with the mission.
