WO2 Vandiver has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the success and readiness of his unit. Stepping beyond his primary duties, he spearheaded the development of a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) School—a critical training program designed to enhance the preparedness of pilots and other personnel across the unit. His work ensures that members of the 28th CAD are better equipped to handle the challenges of both combat and operational environments.

Beyond his instructional contributions, WO2 Vandiver has been a key pillar of TRADOC’s operational success, lending his expertise to a wide array of courses and training initiatives. His commitment to the professional growth of others has directly contributed to the strength and effectiveness of the unit’s force structure.

Recognizing his capabilities and initiative, WO2 Vandiver has recently assumed the role of Assistant Readiness NCO for TRADOC, taking on additional responsibilities critical to the unit’s operational readiness. I feel like too many people are inactive and unwilling to do their job, causing administrative issues in a unit that used to be semi-serious milsim, but has turned more into casual milsim. I don't enjoy the unit like I once did, and don't enjoy the people that are above me, nor their actions. Tevel has been great, and deserves many good wishes, and mostly so has Comic, but Comic's LOA is just going to end up being a 2nd LOA later down the line, potentially making them indefinite. Jones is never around, making it nearly impossible to communicate with him unless you get lucky and he just so happens to show up. Cake and Padel are okay, I understand Padel has life issues, but Cake needs to make up his damn mind and have an opinion of his own. I understand not having any ideas but the idea of a leader is that they definitively make up their minds. Furthermore, it's the failure of a number of leaders that I don't have the rank efficient enough for retirement, despite far out-meeting the TIS requirement, something that has irked me for a while. Bravo Company refuses to acknowledge that the early warrant officer ranks are automatic promotions, and feel the need to make them into merit based promotions despite giving us no progression for the majority of them. This, along with causing issues with personal preference on individual, does not forbode well when the leaders that make this decision never show up and are impossible to communicate with. All in all, I'm done with the unit, I'm done with Bravo Co, and I'd rather focus on my own things than pour many many many hours into a unit that gives me nothing in return.
